Midsummer’s Wildflowers

DSCN4066

In April, during a trip to the Dollar Tree, I picked up two boxes of seeds (marigolds and wildflowers). Some part of me knew that I would be staying home for at least April. And it is unusual for me to do anything with gardening.

I planted the seeds in April and only the marigolds grew in the garden. I gave up on the wildflowers. A few wildflowers grew under my window in May and are still present despite me not watering them. During the past week, the wildflowers blossomed in the garden.

These photos celebrate late-bloomers.
