I went to see the vintage sailboats and ended up photographing eagles and the beach instead.
Coupeville is a small town on Whidbey Island in Washington State. It is between Penn Cove and Greenbank on the way to Clinton (Mulkiteo Ferry), Langley, and Freeland. The people of Coupeville created a land trust to preserve its farming heritage and also its historic buildings in downtown.
