Cafe Rumba (Peruvian sandwiches with names we can’t pronounce)
While I was working on an article for Whatcom Talk, I took extra photographs of eateries on North State Street in Bellingham. I experienced an abundance of photo opportunities and the article only required five. So, I decided to post the other photos here.
If you are traveling to Bellingham, Washington, check out eateries on Railroad Avenue, North State Street (between East Holly and the round-about) and Fairhaven (South Bellingham). But do so on foot, otherwise, you miss the best places which are usually small and intimate.
If you would like to learn about vegan and gluten-free options in Bellingham, please leave a comment below. Pepper Sisters and Leaf and Ladle both have vegan and gluten-free options. Most eateries have at least one vegetarian option on their menu (Cafe Rumba and Cosmos Bistro do) but gluten-free is harder to come by at these eateries. Pelmeni has a potato dumpling for vegetarians.
