I didn’t have enough time today to head to Whatcom Falls Park so I went to Maritime Heritage Park instead–it’s the same creek anyway. When I started walking the pathway to the park, couples strode past me. I wondered what brought so many people to the park on a damp late November day. Then in the distance, I saw the fishermen and women casting their lines for salmon. The salmon run draws crowds.
However, I wasn’t looking for salmon or fisher people. I arrived and photograph nature–mainly birds.
